| Internal Use | Beneficial for the treatment of: For fever, colitis, digestive disturbances, muscular pain and spasms, poor circulation, stress-related conditions, exhaustion, soothes intestinal infections. Can also be used for the treatment of nervous conditions. |
| External Use | For athlete’s foot, ringworm, lice, arthritis, scabies and open pores. Filter into a hot bath. |
| Other | Use in soaps, creams & candles. Very good insect repellent and for insect bites and stings. For oily skin and dandruff. Combined with black pepper it is said to relieve nausea. |
| Preparation | Pour 1 cup of boiling water over 1-2 teaspoons of herb. Cover and infuse for 10-15 minutes. Strain and drink 3-4 times a day. Hot compress: Put 1-2 teaspoons of herb into a facecloth, wrap and dip into ½ a cup of boiling water for 5 minutes. Allow to cool enough not to burn the skin, squeeze excess water from the facecloth and apply to affected area. |
