| External Uses | Topical preparations are widely used for wound healing: cuts, burns, abrasions, eczema, rashes, and insect bites. Common in ointments, salves, compresses, and rinses for skin irritation, acne, and sunburn. Used as a mouthwash or gargle for oral inflammation (gingivitis, mouth ulcers, sore throat). Can be used as a hair rinse for scalp conditions. |
