External Uses | Gargling with green tea may reduce tooth decay by preventing plaque to form due to its fluoride content. Cooled green tea used as a lotion may help for skin Cancer. Soothes insect bites. As an eye wash for eye ailments. As an ointment for haemorrhoids, swelling and sunburn. Add strained Green tea to a warm bath for instant revival of an overtired, aching body. Strengthens and promotes healthy hair. |

Preparation | Pour 1 cup of boiling water over ½ teaspoon of herb. Cover and infuse for 5 min- 10 min, then strain. Drink 3 times a day. Hot compress: Put 1-2 teaspoons of herb into a facecloth, wrap and dip into ½ a cup of boiling water for 5 minutes. Allow to cool enough not to burn the skin, squeeze excess water from the facecloth and apply to affected area. |
